Project Description:
Villa owners decided to turn a guest shower room under the staircase into something more practical since it had not been heavily used by guests. They also wanted to move the washing machine and dryer out of sight and obtain a more aesthetic look for their staircase.
What Was Done:
We performed the following steps to complete this economical bathroom conversion:
1. Shower unit, taps, toilet, sink, radiator, and window dismounted.
2. Old tiling stripped and walls cleaned.
3. Electrical connections added and adjusted where necessary.
4. Room re-tiled and grouted, and ceiling plastered where necessary and painted.
5. Toilet and radiator repositioned and window refitted.
6. New vanity unit with a sink and extra cabinets fitted.
7. New marble worktop with skirts fitted.
8. Washing machine and dryer moved and connected, and new lights fitted.
The result of this bathroom conversion turned an ordinary shower room into an efficient and useful utility room, retaining its wire and connectivity functions. The project duration was seven workdays.
